Compact Size: Patented technology allows for the design of antennas shorter than their electrical length. This permits the antennas to fold inward along the receiver creating a compact single unit comprised of a receiver and antenna. The receiver measures only 8 ¼” x 2” x 1 ½ (with antennas folded) and fits into a holster that can be worn on a belt.
Durable Construction: The receiver is housed in a casing that is milled from a solid aluminum bar. In addition, the antenna elements are virtually unbreakable. The durability of the receiver permits a warrantee of 10 years on the body and antenna and 3 years on the electronics.
Two channels: The Classic Receiver has two channels that are conveniently switched with a single button.
Near Mode: The Classic features an attenuator that simplifies tracking when the transmitter is close to the receiver (less than one mile). The attenuator is activated by pressing the NEAR button (red indicator light will illuminate). The NEAR mode makes it easier to set the gain level by reducing the sensitivity.
Frequency Fine adjustment: Transmitter frequencies sometimes drift based on temperature and atmospheric conditions. Tracker has incorporated a dial that adjusts the frequency to provide optimum range and audio characteristics.

Tracker's Maxima Complete was developed for tracking in the 216.000 to 220.999 frequency range. The Maxima Complete is based on the same great design as Tracker’s previous field tested and proven receivers.
Tracker still offers the smallest and most durable receiver on the market with integrated folding antenna that can easily be transported and used in the field. The receiver can store up to 100 transmitter frequencies.

Tracking a Strong Signal
When your signal is overwhelmingly strong, or you are very close to the transmitter the Near mode reduces the sensitivity of the receiver making it easier to set the gain, and pinpoint the exact location of the transmitter.
Frequency Fine Tune
Transmitter frequencies often drift up or down based on temperature, humidity and other external factors. You can now fine tune the frequency by adjusting the new forth digit.

The QTR-M receiver is built for the serious dog hunter. It contains the latest state-of-the-art integrated circuitry for maximum sensitivity and noise suppression. It offers clear, audible chirping signals with 30 percent more speaker volume than most receivers. In addition, the signal strength meter responds to the slightest signal impulse for fast, accurate tracking. The meter will also test the amount of battery life remaining.
The QTR-M is powered by an easily replaceable 9-volt battery for a cost of less than $5.00, and the battery will operate approximately four to six months under normal use.
The QTR-M is lightweight and portable. Most people prefer it mounted on the antenna for quick and easy access to tracking. It is also vehicle compatible with a roof-mount antenna and also works well from within a vehicle.
The QTR-M has a three position range selector switch found only on QTR-M receivers. No other receiver on the market has this unique feature . This allows the receiver to track close, medium, or long range, allowing a determination of approximate distance to your hound. The Close setting will track up to 1/4 mile, Medium up to 1 1/2 miles, and Long Range gives maximum signal reception.
Hunters have performed numerious filed test with the QTR-M and determined that this receiver, when paired with one of our QT collars, normally tracks out to a distance of five or ten miles in the long range position (determined by terrain).
